THE ASSOCIAZIONE AMICI DEI LINCEI

About us

The Associazione Amici dell’Accademia dei Lincei was founded in December 1986.

Its purpose is to establish and develop a permanent link between the economic, business and productive world and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.

Thanks to its members, known as the Friends, the Association intends to offer a contribution of ideas, organisation and financial support for the realisation of the Accademia dei Lincei’s institutional aims.

Main objectives

Through its Executive Board, the Association implements its statute and in particular pursues the following objectives:

to formulate proposals for the study of scientific and technical subjects of major interest to the life of the country

to offer its support for the implementation of study and research programmes accepted by the Academy and for interventions aimed at the conservation of the Academy's conspicuous heritage

to carry out studies and research at the proposal of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei
